In response to numerous house fires in Levittown Homes during the 1980's a special commission was formed for consideration and the approval of boilers that would meet the following needs and prevent house fires.

Please Note: There only three boilers were approve for the installation in Levittown, Pa homes. Special consideration has been taken for the installation of the boiler in a confined space (in hallway closet, under the kitchen counter, under the bathroom counter) and clearances to combustibles. In addition to approving these boilers, special installation procedures and fire proofing procedures were adopted by the townships.

Please Note: The installation or replacement of the boiler in Levittown requires a fire permit and inspection from the local townships: Bristol Twp., Falls Twp., Middletown Twp., Tullytown Twp. Installation of a boiler without a building permit could result in a fine for the property owner of up to $1,000.00. per day for failure to obtain a township building permit.
